Used the weekend to put some things into perspective. Yes, that involved making some manmosas's (or brassmonkey's depending on where you are). Anyone able to pineapple and Kronenbourgh is amazing together!
Today was week 4 of the shelter in place. First week my husbands family was in town for part of it. The second week I was PMSing, cleaning, and trying to figure out how I would start to teach my 3 and 4 year olds online. Third week I started to feel the full effects of isolation, sadness, uncertainty, a little bit of craziness. Now I am feeling a bit of calm, a sense of routine.
We had some pasties (going to school in Butte, this became a staple for my husband and I) on the last cold day, I hope. We played a great amount of World of Warcraft classic, yes there is a difference. There was some VR and some darts, and honestly a great night of drinks! The relaxation of the weekend really helped me realize what is needed for me to feel calm at the moment.
Something I realized is support, I am lucky I have a strong support system. I have my husband, his family, my family and I don't feel like it is a burden. During this tough time, it is our ability to work together and find the support we need to get through this. It will help, even if it doesn't feel like it now.
