Got to check on my kids plants at work. They are getting big! I am hopeful that we still might be able to go back to work and I want this to still be alive when the kids arrive. This is the first year we have been able to keep the plants alive, thanks to a new grow light! I think the kids would love to see that life kept going on during this pandemic.
My husband and I decided to support a local wine and beer distributor, City Vineyard. This is a great place; beer, wine, cheese, olives, specialty meats, and some specialty breads and pasta. We like that they have local beers as well as some you can't get elsewhere! Kronenbourg 1664, YUM! Also, the owners are very friendly and caring people!
Today I am going to make some applesauce. We had so many apples left over from the produce bad we got last Wednesday, that I needed to do something with them. Doing a very simple recipe, apples, cinnamon sticks, water, lemon juice. Already the house is starting to smell better.
My husband realized he does a daily update for me about Covid-19. He follows a page that tells you the predicted peak day, the number of deaths, and similar things. It has just become a way of life, as weird as that sounds. I am nervous about what will be considered normal way of life after this ends.
I am still not sleeping well at night. I can fall asleep, but can not stay asleep. I am not napping throughout the day, to try and keep a normal sleep schedule, but today I took a 30 min power nap. It did help, but I hope I can get my sleep schedule back on track soon.
