A Normal Day

Today was a great day.

I chose Wednesday to be my shopping day, try to do it only once a week. So 7 am I was at the door to WinCo preparing for it to be mayhem. Yesterday they closed the schools for another 2 weeks. However, the place was normal, normal like it was before all this craziness. I was in and out with everything I needed in 20 mins. Same thing at Albertsons. It was wonderful getting home by 8 am with very little stress.

Once at home I did my normal check in with my pre-k class. We held a ZOOM meeting and I got to see the amazing smiles of all my children. It was wonderful hearing them chat about what they were doing at home, and them showing off their rooms. Made me miss them even more.

Then in the afternoon I collected my produce bag from the local Produce Depot. A great program that allows you to pickup or have delivered a bag of assorted fruits and veggies for only $30. It really helped make things seem more normal today. Now just have to find out what to make with edible flowers.

When I got home from the Depot, I found this laying on the couch in my computer room. As soon as I picked it up, I heard a click coming from my husbands work space. And a NERF battle ensued. A great endorphin boost for both of us!! Even though I lost due to a head shot!

My husband has really been working to make sure we don't get irritated with each other, and laugh every day. He even has offered to film my videos for my kids. Love him!

Days like today really make me realize we are going to be just fine. It is going to take time, but if we really try, be safe/careful, we will be okay.
